BARCODE TRACKING

Stevens & Stevens uses barcode based Record Storage Software, which is considered to be the leading records storage & management software available.

All containers, retrieved file folders & tapes are barcoded for tracking purposes. A brief description of each container or file folder is entered in our tracking system.

Our records management software uses the latest in barcode technology and provides a fully automated system which allows each work order to be tracked from the moment a customer requests delivery or pickup of files, containers or tapes, until they are safely delivered or returned to storage.

PDT hand held scanners (portable computers) verify the chain of custody & are equipped with portable printers that provide our clients with a printed receipt listing all items picked up or delivered.

All orders for services, pickups and deliveries must have an authorized signature and be FAXed to the operations department at Stevens & Stevens.
