Do I Have to Remove Staples Before My Documents Get Shredded?
The quick answer is “no,” our industrial paper shredders can easily cut through staples so you don’t have to waste time removing them yourself!
What happens to the paper after it has been shredded?
Once the shredding stage has been completed, the paper is then bailed and sent to a recycling mill. Pulpers will introduce chemicals and water to break down the paper into a “slurry mix” and remove any ink. Any remaining particles pass through screens and are separated. The paper is then dried and pressed into sheets to be used as “recycled paper.”
What items cannot be mixed with paper?
